Important information before you buy

  • All of our products are second-hand, vintage, or antiques.
  • Certificates do not exist. Information about materials, age, orrigin is provided for guidance only and is not legally binding.
  • Especially with vintage and antique items, a scent of camphor (used to preserve Japanese kimonos) may be present.
  • We strongly recommend professional dry cleaning. Washing in a machine or by hand may cause damage, for which we cannot take responsibility.

In Japan, some people who wear kimonos regularly carefully hand-wash them or take them to specialized kimono cleaning services that use machines suitable for kimonos.

Antique fabrics are often delicate, so please handle them with particular care when washing.

After wearing a kimono, we recommend not folding it immediately. First, gently dab visible stains with a cotton cloth and air the kimono in the shade. This reduces the need for a full cleaning.

  • Single-person operation: Responses to inquiries and shipping may take 2–3 days.
  • All of our items are one-of-a-kind. If multiple orders are placed at the same time, the order will be processed for the person who completed the purchase first according to the system. Please note that your order is only considered confirmed once you receive the order confirmation email.
  • It is also possible that the same items are being offered at weekly markets or larger events at the same time. We strive for quick inventory management, but we ask for your understanding.
  • Please note: We make every effort to display the colors of our products in the photos as accurately as possible. However, the perception of colors may vary depending on your monitor or screen settings.

At markets, we offer our products at the lowest possible prices. However, in the online shop, new pricing applies, so the same product may be priced differently. We appreciate your understanding.

  • Please purchase only if you have understood these notes.

"Please check our guidelines – we hope you find your favorite kimono and enjoy it for a long time."
