This antique Japanese haori, presumably from the 1920s to 1940s, captivates with its expressive design and unique color scheme.
On an ocher background, reddish-brown motifs, reminiscent of paulownia leaves, spread across the entire fabric. In between, white, radiating patterns add delicate accents, giving the haori an exceptionally refined appearance.
Although the overall color palette is calm and restrained, the generous arrangement of the motifs appears surprisingly bold and modern. The combination of traditional plant forms and an expressive design makes this haori a particularly stylish piece.
