As a general rule, avoid washing or cleaning whenever possible. After wearing, air out the garment in the shade. If you notice any storage odors, we recommend repeating this several times before considering cleaning.
Clean only when necessary: Please consult a professional cleaner beforehand. Professional dry cleaning may be an alternative to washing with water, but it also carries risks for delicate vintage textiles.
Do not machine wash. Hand washing may also damage the fabric.
Iron only with great care, as heat and steam may alter the fabric.

Description
An antique haori in a yellow-green hue with a crane motif (origami cranes), presumably from the late Taishō to early Shōwa period (approx. 1920s–1930s).
The natural, gentle yellow-green shade appears both calm and unique, lending the piece a special aura. On the finely crafted fabric with its subtly woven classic pattern, the large-scale cranes unfold an impressive, dynamic effect.
A special highlight is the lining: it features an elaborately executed shibori pattern (kumo-shibori) across the entire surface, conveying the high level of craftsmanship of this haori. The contrast between the powerful outer design and the fine, detailed interior creates the unique appeal of this piece.
Condition: There are a few very small holes (approx. 1 mm) in the lining. The outer fabric has no holes, but shows slight fabric shifting in places, which is consistent with its age and underscores its authentic vintage character.
The combination of this particular coloring and the striking design is rare and gives the haori an extraordinary presence. A haori that even makes me hesitate to part with it.
Also excellent for combining with modern clothing – a unique haori that adds individuality and elegance to any outfit.
