This is a haori made of high-quality Ōshima-Tsumugi, a fabric that remains popular today. It is dated to the mid- to late Shōwa period (1950–1980). Animal motifs, such as the tiger in the lining, are occasionally found in vintage haori, but are relatively rare. The design is further enhanced with gold accents, giving the piece a particularly refined character.
The outer fabric has a few loose threads, but there are no holes.
