This haori captivates with its delicate cherry blossom hue and a shibori-inspired all-over pattern that lies like fine snow over the fabric. Presumably made in the late Shōwa period, it was worn both in everyday life and on special occasions.
It is not a full Shibori technique, but a softly colored, abstract pattern that in places resembles delicate dots and gives the fabric a light, rhythmic effect. The soft color tone never appears too sweet and blends harmoniously into a grown-up wardrobe.
