      Description

This elegant black vintage haori probably dates from the 1950s to the 1970s.

The black fabric features a delicate woven base pattern reminiscent of waves, subtly visible depending on the light. Overlaid are floral motifs with gold and silver threads, giving the haori a understated yet noble effect. Especially on the simple black background, the fine woven structures and the gentle sheen are beautifully accentuated.

The lining is also very elegantly designed. It is not pure white, but has a soft, slightly ivory tone and is also adorned with a subtle woven pattern. In combination with the deep black of the exterior, this creates a very harmonious and high-quality overall impression.

On the back, there is a kamon, a traditional Japanese family crest. Together with the understated color scheme and classic motifs, this gives the haori a slightly more formal look. It appears less casual than many other haori and conveys the quiet elegance of traditional Japanese clothing.

At the same time, this haori combines very well with modern clothing. It naturally integrates with simple trousers, a dress, or a monochrome outfit. In contrast to particularly colorful haori, this piece captivates primarily with its quiet presence and fine details.

A beautiful choice for both those looking for their first haori and those who already own several pieces and wish to expand their collection with a particularly classic and versatile black vintage haori.
