Description
This is a very elegant haori with a floral Yūzen-style pattern on a black background. Among black haori, this piece is one of my personal top recommendations.
The pattern depicts an arrangement of chrysanthemums in the form of a chrysanthemum mist composition (Kikka-Kasumi). This design is typical of Haori and combines beauty with a charming and sweet aura.
The chrysanthemum is one of the most well-known traditional motifs of Japan and represents longevity, dignity and happiness.
The lining is also designed with auspicious motifs: On a white background, there are depictions of cranes, pine trees and plum blossoms – all classic symbols of luck and good omen in Japanese culture.
The pattern is both playful and elegant and can be combined with many different outfits. Even just wearing this haori gives the outfit a special flair and makes getting dressed a real pleasure.
* The lining shows slight soiling across its entire surface.
