      Description

A haori made of black silk fabric with a pattern in bright vermillion red.
The floral motifs are rendered in a single shade of red and designed with ample white space, giving the piece a particularly elegant and stylish appearance. Some of the motifs feature delicate accent embroidery, adding further depth and sophistication to the haori.

The clean, linear floral motifs are typical of the early Shōwa period, during which an increasingly modern design language developed. The design combines decorative restraint with practical wearability and reflects the aesthetic shift of this era.

The lining is made of a simple, slightly transparent white fabric that provides a calm contrast to the dark outer layer and beautifully highlights the pattern of the outer fabric. Overall, the haori has a very clean and minimalist look, pairs well with Western clothing, and is suitable for both casual occasions and more stylish, formal events.
