Description
This is a men's haori from the mid- to late Shōwa period (1950–1980). The lining features a hand-painted landscape motif depicting rocks, pine trees, waterfalls, and houses, with skillful gold accents adding a touch of elegance. The outer fabric is likely Ōshima-Tsumugi, which has a calm, understated appearance and contrasts beautifully with the lining.
The overall condition is good, but it shows clear signs of wear.
approx. 1950–1980
