A haori with a delicate all-over pattern of small flowers on a white background. Probably made in the mid to early late Shōwa period (approx. 1950s–1960s).
The modern color palette of orange, mustard, fresh green and brown tones is slightly reminiscent of Western textile designs. The subtly balanced pattern gives the piece a light yet urban feel.
The lining features a Yūzen-inspired design in shades of orange and green. Although related in color to the outer fabric, a completely unique Japanese aesthetic unfolds here. When moving, the lining subtly peeks out, giving the Haori additional depth.
When combined with jeans, it looks surprisingly natural – almost not like a classic haori. And yet, the dyed fabric structure and the visible inner lining create that special "Wa" atmosphere that only such a piece can radiate.
A Haori that is rarely found in this form. Ideal for those who appreciate nuances that Western clothing cannot offer and who want to subtly emphasize their individuality.
